Causal Gamers Wish-List (Starfield)

Recommended Posts

Firstly, thanks to all the Modders out there. As a casual gamer at best, I didn't realize how much goes into improving a players experiences 😀.

(New to Starfield, so apologies if I didn't know that such a feature was available)...

  1.  HUD Clock- Something on the HUD that let's you keep track of the local time for the system you're in. Like if you want to raid a pirate hangout, but want to wait until dark to do so. It seems that the only way to get the local time is by finding someplace to sit/sleep and invoke the "Wait" feature. Seems it would be so much easier to plan with just a simple clock available on the HUD. An even fancier feature would include sunrise/sunset times. There's a ton of different time zones in this game and you would think it relevant to gamers since the developers put in the final product.
  2. Related to #2 above... Can someone create a little portable chair/stool that you can equip and carry with you? Like when you're in the middle of nowhere and want to invoke the "Wait" feature? Currently, you have to wander around looking for a (hopefully) deserted structure and hope you find a chair/bed to use.
  3. Scope Reticles for the colorblind? I do a lot of sniping with scoped weapons, but it's often a challenge when you're colorblind like me. Since you don't know if it's a good/bad guy you're looking at from such a distance, picking off an innocent civy, would be awful. I know the reticle in scopes turns red when it's a bad guy, but can't also include the reticle changing to an "X" when pointing at a good guy? I think this was the way scope reticles worked in Halo.
  4. And related to #3 above... Is there a way to determine the type structure (and possibly if it's inhabited) from farther away? Right now, I need to get within like 30 meters before the system will provide info on the facility. No fun for snipers who want to start their attack from far away 😀 Don't they have aerial drones in the future for intel purposes?
