cyden Posted April 14 Share Posted April 14 I haven't played in a while, But when I loaded in all the misc item clutter was gone from my ship and dumped into the ships inventory. Just as it is after editing a hab, I haven't done so in hours and the clutter was there last I played. I found out that an update broke the clutter in a shotgun approach to fix a over dupping bug. has anyone been able to reverse this? I miss the clutter as it was one of the few things in the game that made the ships feel lived in and gave a bit of much needed personality to the world Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

LarannKiar Posted April 14 Share Posted April 14 All vanilla Misc Items that come with Habs are regenerated by the game code after a while. Completing one or two even quests usually provides enough time. Modify your ship if it doesn't happen for some reason, that should reset the timer. Player placed items won't respawn. AzureFire1991 Posted April 15 Share Posted April 15 It's the same for me, and I'm trying to just learn if this is only affecting certain players or if the same issue is affecting everyone. No matter how long you wait after customizing your ship, the clutter doesn't respawn. Additionally, clutter from new habs doesn't appear in your cargo hold. For example, if I modify the Frontier, keeping the special Frontier Hab and adding let's say a workshop, only the clutter from the Frontier hab will appear in your hold. No clutter from the workshop does. And none of the clutter respawns in either hold. If anyone reading this is willing to see if this is happening on their own copies and let me know, it would help put my mind at ease that is is just a patch glitch.
