willfart4cash
Hello, So I'm trying to have my F4SE load on steam with "Directory <game name/f4se_loader>" %command% but it leads to an error that says "Couldn't Read Arguments' If I open the file directly from the folder it works fine with all the mods I downloaded, but from steam it's just that for some reason and I tried everything I could find. DeejayCalid
I updated to the most recent F4SE and am also having the same issue when trying to launch from steam. If i launch from steam, the launcher starts up, I hit play, and then i get the "couldn't read arguments" error.
worm82075
The script extender works by injecting it's code into RAM at runtime and to do this it needs direct access to Fallout4.exe. Trying to load it through Steam is essentially putting the Steam API code between FO4SE and Fallout4.exe. If the hooks are shifted even slightly the Script Extender won't work and that is why GOG has a separate version. What you are trying to do would also require a different version.
