1122mishwish
This is my first time shopping for a gaming laptop as I've never owned one before. My maximum budget is $600. I consider myself a casual gamer and am looking to play some PC-only games, as well as titles not available on PS5 such as Flight Simulator or Starfield. Ideally, I'd like to run most games on ultra settings and intend to use the laptop for at least 5 years. My preferred GPU would be an RTX 4080 with 32GB memory, paired with an Intel CPU. I'm not overly concerned about storage, so I'm fine with either 512GB or 1TB. As for the screen, I don't have a specific preference, but I want it to display smoothly. I'm looking for a screen size of either 16 or 18 inches. While I'm open to considering RTX 4070 laptops if there's a compelling deal, I'm uncertain about what constitutes a good deal. For instance, I'm unsure if this offering is a good deal gaming laptop price Another option I'm considering is the Alienware m16 with the same specs but a QHD screen, priced at $1700. I have a friend at Dell who can provide me with a 17% discount. If you have any recommendations for builds that would be a good deal after applying the discount, I'd appreciate it. Any advice on pricing or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Edited May 8 by 1122mishwish spelling mistakes
