Barlas
Hmmm how about when you start a character, you get a quest to go to an npc. That npc gives you your fist zanpakto. This would be fairly weak. Then, about 5 levels later, you would get to know your zanpakto's name. This would replace your weak one with a fairly better one. 10 levels later, you should see the guy again. saying you done well enough so that you should learn shikai. The shikai would be a lesser power and would give you some small power, but also weekness. Then, finally, 15 levels later, you would learn your bankai. Bankai would be a greater power, and give you a light ore heavy armor (depending on whichever skill is high for you, if both were maxx it would be heavy armor), and give you your zanpakto in it's final form. I would have a 1% chance to do a very powerful move. The greater power effect would last a wopping 15 seconds, but would be worth it. The weapons would be how they are depending on how to make your character. Once getting your first one, if either marksman, blade/blunt, or destruction is higher, then it's final form would be like that. IE you start and you have better marksman than destruction or blunt/blade, so your weapon would be a bow of some kind with some arrows.
Sandalhat
Only the cero using tons of magika when used would make sense, not bankais / shikais. With the way some of those powers works, it wouldn't make sense for magika to get involved. For the most part some of them might even just be script driven with charges set on the weapons. Like the easiest would be the zanpaku-to (thats how its spelled apperently o_O) that makes the wieght of what ever it touches to double. Easiest version would be a simple burden on strike enchantment. Other than that, the shikai activation and bankai activation would be the "Spells/Powers" that would be activated, not the weapons abilities themselves. After all, Ichigo's bankai only has one special attack, easy to make into a spell while you are using that bankai that uses up magika like a cero would. But the transformation itself would not. As you can see, Magika would not be a factor in even 50% of the weapons we have seen. Like take Bald Guys (I forget his name, he is the one from 11th Squad with the sword that becomes a three section staff), his bankai is pure melee. Two gaint as blades in each hand with a third on his back. The only thing that would be useable at this point is a Script on Strike feature that would keep raising your Blade skill with each strike, thus it would be kind of like how his bankai only got stronger with each blow dealt to his opponent, each time their attacks met, and each time he took a blow. Because of this your damage with that bankai would keep going up, but only as long as you had the buff on you, which would last for a short period of time. Once the buff goes away, the "Dragon" in his blade would go back to sleep basiclly, thus returning your damage to normal. So that one might be easy to pull off to, like the burden blade. But other blades would be harder. So, its not really a matter of using magika to balance it out. But finding how to balance each ability. Some will obviously be better than others (bankai should always be more powerful than the shikai abilities for example), but despite this it needs to be balanced. Thus why I said that Bankai should be a Once Per Day Power, so that when the player is using it, the player is really strong, but at the same time, once he loses bankai, he can't use it again for a while. That would be a way to keep the player from going bankai all the time. Also, damage values of the weapons themselves. That would have to be closely monitored so that they are still close to the original weapons of Oblivion so that way people would just want to get a Bleach Zanpaku-to and abuse it. Even Bankai when activated shouldn't be that much stronger than their shikai forms. And even then, Bankai shouldn't be outrageously stronger than anything in the game, so you just can't run up to the final boss in the game and one shot him. If anything, maybe each Zanpaku-to should be only aquired through a quest? Don't know, it shouldn't be an easy quest to begin with. Wouldn't be good for a level 1 to be using bankai right off the bat. So maybe quest chains for not only aquiring each Zanpaku-to, but also to gain shikai and finally bankai? That could help balance things out somewhat. Nice facts, thought kira's shikai doubles weight every time, first its doubled then quaterdoubled and then doubled eight times, it is not single same amount of burden each time, and if it is burden enchantment, it can be made so it makes all enemies unable to move with one strike or then it'd be that it makes just some enemies unable (For example guards can endure with very hard burden spells on em') creating many bankais to activate can be some hard scripting, and also animating.. for example renji's shikai and bankai.. imagine em in oblivion, they'd be static and suck :verymad: btw, baldy's Ikkaku about that balancing bankais stuff, you know that for shinigami's real world people are trash, that's why you'd need to make it so oblivion world is named soul society (And all enemies are marked veeery strong) and then make real world you can go to throught senkai gate (or prevent this using explanation that you got no reason to go, or no mission) or then creating soul society and quest for it. however bankai simply MUST be damn strong, it's 100% release shikai's 50% so it's doubled shikai, but to prevent too long bankai using, it should cause user to get tired of too much use of reiatsu, and later on the bankai'd end.. like toushirous bankai. btw.. when Ichigo uses hichigo mask, he suffers damage, causing him unable to use it again.Maybe these are many of facts that makes modding bleach into oblivion so hard; Not many people out there that love bleach, and are skilled enough to go trought this trouble.I'd do this if I'd have skill.. BTW bleach fans asking why isn't there more bleach mods; Well now there's shinigami's robes! :D go go for corthians newest release :) both, captain and normal. there's still lots a clothes undone still..I hope someone makes bleach hairs soon :)

Sandalhat
Hm...wtb hollow form? That sir, would own to infinity^infinity (thats infinity to the infinitith power) well, you see it just needs wider leveled system  Ichigo barely wins ulquoirra by turning 100% hollow. .. barely :)well then i'm sure ichigo finds more harder opponents.. later onlike Aizen or genruyysai.. if he fights em'they'd be just more leveled. Leveling system would be 10 - shikai50 - bankai (it's so imba it needs much higher lvl)75 - hollow mask100 - hollow form If it appears ichigo has more stages hid, then level system can be recuded like shikai 5 and so on. massmurdrx21
As for the hollow mask doing damage it does no such thing it is simply a burst of power for a short period of time you could probably edit the script so that it costs tons of magicka (which could be considered as riatsu or "Spiritual Pressure") and make it a once a day summoning spell so it would add it once u used the spell (also the mask from the overhaul is a bit too small and needs to be rounded out :whistling: )
forgerofsouls
Hm...Well, firstly, When you learn your Zanpakuto's name, thats basically when you learn to use Shikai. Most of the time anyways. Kenpachi doesn't know his zanpakuto's name and yet its like Ichigo's Zangetsu, in a constant release form (shikai form). So learning the name of your zanpakuto and then many levels later learning to use shikai doesn't really make sense. But other than that, I like the whole quest thing and levels thing. Just not how the whole custom zanpakuto thing works. And yes, I know what Kira's Zanpakuto does with the whole doubling of weight and all. But I have no idea if that would be possible to script into Oblivion. So, I used Burden as an example, thats all. If it would be possible to script it, it would actually effect the weight of the held weapon and shield, doubling them every strike. Remeber, weapons swing speed is based on their weight, so this would in effect make them swing slower. If possible it could be scripted that if the weight on the victim gets above ther weight limit than they become paralyzed (unless they drop the weapon and/or shield to reduce the weight). Thus, it would be possible to mimic the anime even better than just a simple burden. And thanks for reminding me who Baldy is! I keep forgeting its Ikkaku. And your right about Renji's Shikai and Bankai. That would suck if it was static. But ti should be possible to make an animated weapon, so as to reduce the staticness. But I'm not sure about that. Well, we do not need to introduce Soul Society into the game lol. Though that could be fun, fighting hollows and Arrancar and what not. The whole idea behind balancing it is because I just do not want a game where I would be able to complete the main story lines and "Real" world quests by being able to basically, well, one shot everything because of a OP ability. Thus my call for balance. And I never remeber seeing Ichigo take damage from his mask. All it was was a strain on his energy to keep the mask up. But hes to the point where it doesn't matter now, he can wear it for a long period of time with no damage from it. And there should be no real time limit or usage per day limit on shikai, all shinigami that reach that level are able to use shikai many times per day with no real strain. Likewise, bankai, thats straining, but they can hold bankai for long periods of time, its not a short 15 sec thing. As for hollow form...thats a no go. Not all shinigami have their own hollow mask to begin with. Though I think all have the possibility for getting one, they just don't. So that shouldn't be forced on anyone in game through levels or even quests. It should be a side quest at best. And thats only the mask. No, if people want to be a hollow, they can go a different route in the quests that would make it impossible for them to do any quests to get a zanpakuto for being a shinigami. Instead the player would become a hollow and quest to get an arrancar zanpakuto. Thus the player would become an arrancar. But yeah, despite being a scripting nightmare, it would also be an animation nightmare. But the results, if done right, would easly make the modders virtual modding gods. And yes, I said modders, only because it is such a huge undertaking, that it would take a lot of modders to make it work correctly. The number of zanpakuto, combined with all that scripting and animation would require a good deal of time from a single person, several years would pass before anything concrete would be useable, but with many people working on it, it could still take a while, but would be done quicker. Sandalhat
one shot everything because of a OP ability. Thus my call for balance. In real world you'd be in other form, normal mortal wich limitations prevents zanpakuto usage etc.. like kido.or then if you are ranked captain in soul society, you'd be able to go into real world in shinigami form, but with 1/5 powers. thought I wouldn't go for it.. too big mod to create simply :) Someone requested soul society, I'd love to do seireitei if I had objects, and ability to create it withing 10 hours.. I'm not wasting my weeks for it its too big
forgerofsouls
Ah, I see what your saying now. That would make sense, and might be fairly easy to script. But making Soul Society...that would be a huge undertaking. But why just stop there? Make the land of the hollows! No, really, if you think about it, what would the purpose of Soul Society be? There wouldn't be any real enemies there due to its nature. So we would need a place to fight hollows with these new powers. Otherwise, you would have to take your new found powers to the real world and be OP. :P I'm not joking, that is how it would end up. Soul Society is much larger than the imperial city, and while it gets the occasinaol hollow intrusion, for the most part, its peaceful there. There really wouldn't be any action. Thus that leaves you with creating another place. Or not restricting power so that people can go to the real world and abuse...I mean use their new powers. Balance is always needed, no matter how well you plan it out. Thus you got to always think of stuff like that, otherwise, you give players little to no oppurunaty (god my spelling sucks today) to use their new powers. Balance isn't just about the power of the gear and powers, but also on where to use such powers.
Trandoshan
Not to bump or anything but... I've seen quite a few 'Cero' Look alikes with Midas' Magic. SO it's certainly not impossible. Actually, with permission from Xilver, you could use his 'Death Ray' as a perfect template for Cero. I certainly love the Idea of Cero/Arrancar in Oblivion. I'm planning to make an arrancar Uniform robe as a starting ground, and I am experimenting with the creation of 'Custom' Arrancar masks. The game engine is giving me problems through and through, hehe... If anyone is going to try something like this, I would certainly like to be contacted. Though I fear I won't be any help with scripting, I can make worldspaces and create armors and weapons to some extent.
