Installing fallout 4 clothing/armor mods using bodyslide

I'm modding fallout 4...so many mods that I downloaded have the main files and then the bodyslide files for the clothing/armor mod...so by me installing the CBP physics( is there a better physics option than CBP?) that will cover the body when naked correct? even though I build the body and attach the armor/clothing to my custom body I assume some of the clothing/armor mods will need the bodyslide that come with the mod to fit properly?  how do I attach physics to the clothing/armor mods? I spent an hour watching Gopher in a video explain how to use bodyslide but it didn't explain modded bodies or modded.  clothing/armor. Also, does anyone have a better video for bodyslide explaining how to manage and install the clothing/armor mods to my custom body?  Any help would be greatly appreciated
