F4llfield
Hi all, In the creation kit , when I select view in the top menu and then "Warning", nothing happens. The Warning selection stays unchecked and the Warning window doesn't open. I have the extended version of the creation kit and the latest Fallout 4. Any ideas how to solve this ? worm82075
https://imgur.com/DirMjoL Only in the first section of the drop down can you find windows that can be turned off and on. All of the entries below that are render window settings. The "warnings" are posted to the Log Window and that can not be invoked. It will open and populate when you load a data file and will remain open until closed. It is likely that the Warnings entry at the bottom was used in the dev version to silence warnings(posted to the Log Window) generated by loading and altering cells in the render window. F4llfield
Thanks @worm82075, The thing is, I'm not getting the NavMesh info when saving in the log. The info was saying the cell and triangle numbers for problem area. I think it's possible Creationt kit extended is blocking this info cause I installed it recently. Is there another to find problematic NavMesh info ?
worm82075
I see. You are accustomed to the spam messages received when editing the Navmesh. Yes, CKPE blocks these messages because they are not relevent. If there are any relevant issues with your navmesh the warnings will be posted to the log window when you finalize the cell. Otherwise if you need an overview, there is an audit option in the Navmesh drop down that will create a CSV file in the fallout4 directory that can be read in notepad and will list the triangle count and current warnings in every cell. F4llfield
Thanks again @worm82075, I was using this to check the Navmesh of my own personal settlement but also to check new mods I downloaded, to make sure there was no error in the Navmesh. I will try the audit option.
F4llfield
@worm82075, When I select "Audit" in the Navmesh drop down, it doesn't seem to create a csv file in the main fallout 4 directory. Do I need to change a setting in creation kit ini file? added: I can't seem to find info on the ck audit function... worm82075
Where is Steam installed? Program Files folder? Edit: Just double checked and Navmesh mode has to be active for the file to be created.
