Heljo19
My problem now is (after returning after years and burning to play this awesome game again): I own both versions on Steam (do not know why, too far back in the days). But I have only every played LE. And there are just 3 steam achievements missing. Did not care about that back when I played the game, only noticing it now. So I play SE, but there will probably forever be a 72/75 in my steamprofile... Or I "finish" the run of my level 70 Char (still got my old save) to get the 75, but while doing this I will "destroy" my SE-gameplay which follows after it. Or I play LE instead of SE, even though I´d like to add "every" mod that is to my liking's. Is it "possible" to have a good modding experience with LE? Or should I just do not care about these 3 achievements, like back in the days when I lived as Dragonborn instead of myself? Intel Core i5-6600, 8GB RAM, AMD R9 380 if that matters to give an appropriate answer to "my question". Meanwhile I have also read that LE runs even better with mods??? Although the general consensus seems to be that nowdays (variety of mods, multiple core CPU) the SE should be the way to go. While I wait for an answer in the many forums I will post this problem of mine, I will try to make a list of LE and SE mods that I would use. Maybe that can help me to find a solution by myself- No joke, right now this feels like the toughest decision of my life so far xD Edit: I tried 3 times to solve the Problem with "jump to the right of "Lvl 70 Char part" (omg), giving up on that now, got to view Skyrim mods Edited May 25 by Heljo19
Rodr1sen
Hello, I imagine that by now you have already decided what to play, but if the advice helps you, you should jump directly to SE if you are going to reinstall and look for mods since it has better stability and memory usage (from what I understand) than skyrim LE. or directly to AE, there are already thousands of mods that have patches to be able to use them in that version and/or have been created directly for that version. Apart from that, there are better mods such as making the hair, clothes react to the wind or the use of idle or expressions, I have also seen better implemented that the dragonborn speaks the chat lines in the game, and a lot of other things that in LE it is difficult to whether they work or they are not directly Edited June 12 by rodr1ss
AaronOfMpls
And nothing wrong with having both installed, if you have room! I'm still playing LE more often myself, since I have some long-running characters I'm not done with, and I'm still figuring out parts of my mod setup for SE.
