Help with the latest fallout 4 update 1.10.984

Good afternoon everyone,  I´m trying to get some help with a problem that I have with the latest update for fallout 4, right after the nex gen update the creator of F4SE updated the mod and everything worked just fine, however I had to reinstall  the game cause my old ssd failed, as soon as I got into the game I got the message that several mods were not available anymore,  but I thought that it was just a matter of reinstall them, but I just realized that the latest version 1.10.984 affected those mods,  F4SE is working fine, and also some mods, but it seems that at least for me most of the mods that I was using are not longer supported, my questions is,  can you guys help me to roll back the second update up to the point where the next gen is still available but also my mods are supported? I´m not an expert on these topics and I don´t want to break my game even more,  I´m not sure what version was after the next gen update but everything was fine until the version  1.10.984 was released.

Hey there, you can use the Fallout 4 downgrader https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/81630 . Just download the mod and follow the instructions on the mod page. Alternatively you can use Vortex Mod Manager, download the mod and add it as a tool in your dashboard. If you are not sure how to setup a tool I can recommend you checking out Step 8 from this collections installation guide: https://next.nexusmods.com/fallout4/collections/5atq9t . You dont need to follow the previous steps, I just recommend the instructions from this collection because they do a nice job explaining how to set up the tool. I hope this will help

Also keep in mind once downgraded you may also have to donwgrade your mods back.

At least the F4se dependent ones as some published for the new version  .984 are not compatible with old version .163

Right now we are still in a phase where way more mods are available and working with .163 than .984, this includes mods that are kmust haves for me like CBBE, or Transfer settlement blueprints. the blueprints with any version of TFB or game but the TFB app last I checked has not been udpate d to the new F4SE version that goes with FO4 .984

Yes it seems you are correct on both counts.

I believe that may be a bridge too far. Easier to play on .163 and buy the cc content piecemeal but in order to download it one would have to connect to Bethnet at that is blocked i u are not updated according to the message Beth placed on my screen

Thank you all for your responses, and niston is right, I was trying to downgrade to version 1.10.980 that was the version right after the next gen update, I was able to play the new missions and everything was fine until the 1.10.984 was released, I just wanted to be able to keep the content added with the next gen update without doing a downgrade all way back to the 163 version, but sadly I think that going back to 163 it´s the only option, I will wait a bit longer to see if someone else release a mod to select a specific version of the game (not sure if that is possible), otherwise I will have to settle with the 163 version,  appreciate your help guys.

I understand GOG lets you pick which version you download to include old ones if you use GOG galaxy.

I know rewarding bethesda for poor performance with an addtional purchase at GOG seems anathema, but in the big scheme of things the money seems trivial when you consider how much time we all spend on these things.
