Forgotten house mod

I recently re-installed Oblivion onto my PC and I've been hunting the past few days for a a mod I used to have for a player owned house. I remember it being located around Fort Nikle, Fort Empire, and Weye. From memory the house, manor, mansion, or what ever it was looked like the Arborwatch. I do remember a few more small details about the house but it would be pretty much describing any other mod with things like a ingredient sorter, or a mage room with both alter and a bunch of unenchanted staves.

 

I know its a long shot finding this mod since it has been a while since I have played the PC version. I myself have found many sites and files may or may not be there anymore. But any help would be greatly appreciated because it was my favorite house mod for Oblivion.

I don't know if this might be the one you used to have, but it sounds rather similar -- take a look at David Brasher's Lindenshadow Grange. It's not Arborwatch; it's the Donton house across the plaza from it, so looks very much the same. And it's very nicely furnished.

 

It's not all that far away from the general area you described: "The house is located east of Chorrol, north-east of Fort Ash, north-east of Yellow-Tick cave, and south-west of Fort Cold Corn." Easy to get to from the Ring Road.

 

If it's not the one, it's well worth checking out anyway. I lived there myself for quite a while. :smile:

If you have not already, try looking in the Files Categories on the page where you can download mods.

Scroll through them until you find a picture that might match it may be your best bet. Not a lot of help,

but I remember there being a number of house mods in that area. Some have been removed by the modders

when they lost interest here. I know what it's like to try to find a mod, and wish you luck.
