Markmarukka
Hi  My workshop opens instantly, but pictures of the items in my workshop menu take an upwards of 20 seconds to load. Scrolling far left and far right make my menu struggle the most. Sometimes, my screen will even freeze for about 3 seconds until menu catches up. It will also make my custom radio get all choppy. I have tried workshop lag fix mod, and it does absolutely nothing. I messaged author. No help. I checked the install folders and what not. It's fine. It even shows up in my MCM. I am using workshop framework 2.3.30. I have not upgraded to the most recent version because of the overwrites involved. I am on pre next gen version 11063 PC GOG version using mo2. I have been asking this question all over on facebook and discord, and no one has even really chimed in. Thank you. LarannKiar
This could happen if you have too many items in the Build Menu or the items have very high polygon count / high definition textures. The game loads those previews every time you open the menu or a category which can slow down the menu. 20 seconds is still very interesting. It shouldn't be that many. You can try this F4SE plugin.
363rdChemicalCompany
For me the lag has always been in Proportion to my rig. i7 9700 RTX 960ti, 16GB RAM: lotsa lag i9 10900KF, RTX 4070, 64 GB RAM, very little lag AMD 78003XD, RTX 4080S, 64GB DDR5 RAM, Samsung Pro SS: zero lag, even with extra modded tabs and tabs at high Resolution. TurntLogic
Faster Workshop helps reduce stuttering and freezing when opening the workshop menu, but won't necessarily help with the long icon loading times you're experiencing. But as LarannKiar said, the likely cause is having too many items rendered in your workshop menu, especially with HD textures and models. You also have to remember that everything else in your settlement/environment is being rendered as well. Â Â
