A few more settlers like Peter from "Better Settlers" mod

Recommended Posts

You know a guy with a grey beard, who is well spoken, acts with delibration, too old to be prone to Jalousies for the hottest girls in the settelment, but still young enough to be full of energy and does not have that goofy "elderly" movement code.... and refers to prior leadership roles?

I could use some of those to bring to my various far flung settlements as leadership, since I dont trust the young fools, the game will otherwise generate for me, to lead anyone out of a paper bag.

I've console spawned myself Far Habor settlers for a while, since they tend to have a more serious and seasoned look, but am getting tired of their Far Harbor lines.

Peter with his leader's personality was great, I usually gave him a nice outfit, a copy of overseers guardian and put him into my most far flung and threatened settlement ( for a long time that was Somerville due to its proximity to so many threats and the glowing Sea) and then in my head canon, he would run a tight ship there.

But he is only one guy.

Bob from better settlers also seems to display leadership qualities, Pumpkin on the other hand, she is just too shy and cute to be anything but my waifu.

Luke is a raging alcoholic so he is out, though I still use him as a guard and from experience I know he will fight hard for you and the settlement, so I often give him great gear, even a spare power armor if available, and put him into threatened settlements like Somerville or Finch farm.

Just so you know, those NPCs are from "Settlers of the Commonwealth," not "Better Settlers."

That said, Commonwealth Families might fit the bill for you, as the NPC family it covers are unique, recruitable, and have custom voices. All of the other custom-voiced settler mods I can think of are part of bigger mods--SS2, for instance.

Hello again,

Here's another one that might work for you: Eight Companions. Yes, they're companions, but they aren't fully developed companions like Heather or Ellen or Darlene. They do have custom voices and dialog, though, so they're a step above common settlers--even unique settlers. Likewise, I've just posted a patch that corrects some errors/oversights in the original mod: Eight Companions Adjusted.

In any case, I don't run with companions often, so I use this group as "settlement bosses" (so to speak), so maybe they'll be suitable for you, too.
