Mannyduhs
Hello I've been experiencing a sort of blur or glitch in my settlement (Sanctuary specifically). It doesn't seem to effect my FPS but I honestly can't tell with how much of my screen it takes up. I kinda already know what the answer might be but I wanted to run it by someone who could confirm what I'm seeing in the images below. I'm thinking it has something to do with how much I've placed in the settlement + My PC specs aren't exactly impressive since it uses componants that most "serious" or "competetive" gamers would roast me for. Anyways I hope someone can help clarify if I'm just doing something wrong and need to change some settings or if I should finally update my Covid 'puter build specs out of the dark ages. Cheers
subaverage
Hi, in this forum thread you find some more information, but unfortunately not a real solution. It seems that this effect might occur when you buildt too much. After all I know this can also happen when precombines are massively damaged. I've seen that at least indoors. To find out whether it's a general problem with your game or your computer you could start a new game and play until you leave Vault 111 for the first time and go to Sanctuary.
RoNin1971
Not sure as you say its at Sanctuary, but by the looks of it, you can see "the void". Which causes the texture trailing when moving/looking around. Edit: I should add, that its more likely "the void" with internal locations. The "world" at least has a sky, so only deleting the ground should get you that glitch.
Mannyduhs
Thank you for the input. As I mentioned before, I had a feeling it might have been that the amount of items I have built caused this effect. Which really sucks because I was hoping that I could share the settlement file on the nexus once it was completed. I've been using the SOE (Settlement Objects Expanded) as the main resource to make some futuristic settlements for my play through and there is A LOT on there. I'm assuming this also means that simply updating my PC specs won't fix this issue?
