firsTraveler
Can I run London from ModOrganizer 2? I have the GOG version (.163) of F4 and Fallout: London installed and working. I'd like to run London from MO2 and it seems to work except I get this error popup when the game boots: Check if loose files are enabled. PFRK will not work properly. Since I don't get that error when launching from Gog this must be related to MO2. so my questions are: What is PFRK? How do I enable "loose files"? any help please
gamer365
Hi @firsTraveler One thought before you try my suggestions below Have you launched the game Vannilla I.e not through MO2 as that is when it should generate it's own ini files? if not please try that first Check automatic archive invalidation is being used for that profile if it isn't try it. use the button that looks like an ID card to check that make sure the checkbox is ticked then go to the ini editor & there should be a custom ini tab (ini editor is the puzzle icon) the custom ini should have these lines [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= HTH & please let us know how you get on would like to know if London works with MO2 as would like to try sometime
fraquar
MO2 runs GOG just fine, no issues. PFRK is LevelUpMenuEx by Neanka - a framework for overhauling skills and perks. When you look in the game folder you will find Fallout:London leverages the following F4SE mods: 1) LevelUpMenuEx (PFRK.DLL) 2) BakaScrapHeap 3) ConsoleUtil 4) FavoritesMenuEx 5) Extended Dialogue Interface (XDI.DLL) Plus 3 of their own made .DLL's for the User Interface. MidianD
It sure would be nice if they packaged it with a way to run both games right out of the box... Or someone with enough knowledge could write a script that moved everything to the right place for MO2
DjinnKiller
I am a NMM user (I know, I know, let the hazing begin) on FO4 Steam, but I like it and have been using it for a very, very long time. When FOLON dropped I bought the GOG version of FO4 (to keep them separated) and did a portable install of MO2, it detected FO4 GOG right out of the bat. Haven't had time to delve in to this, but my plan is to keep using NMM for my FO4 Steam, and then use MO2 for FO4 GOG/FOLON. ...my two cents. MidianD
MO2 is great. It has the option to keep .in and save files separate per instance. I just started using it, and it took a while to learn, but I'm glad I did.
fraquar
You don't need a script to make Fallout:London a mod. The only thing you need is to move the files in _Appdata and _Config to your profile in MO2. The rest is simply zipping up the Data folder and installing it in MO2.
firsTraveler
Well I quess it doesn't matter as I could not get London to run after exiting the train with a complete vanilla install. Ran great in caracter creation, punching so shrews, getting the pip, exiting the starting area. Take the train ride, step off, CTD.
MidianD
For the train, turn your quality to low and get through it, or press the "skip" button right when it starts to bypass it.
MidianD
I meant a script that joined Vanilla with London so you could play both in the same save game.
