Enemy21000
Hello Everyone, I'm not sure what's causing the issue, but I think I have seen during installation, a mod that was saying the audio was not supported or something like that. Does this ring a bell for anyone ? I have basically installed mods that are top download, to make the game beautifuler. Thanks
Karna5
I'm not sure I've experienced that, but maybe. What I've noticed for weeks is my Skyrim volume is at least 1/3 the volume of everything else in my PC. I can just barely detect voices in Skyrim, and most sounds are very faint (even with hearing aid). I usually use Kinovo BTH blutooth headphones (I have three which I alternate as needed when their 19 hour battery charges expire), and all three headphones have that issue with Skyrim volume. I've checked the Windows equalizer settings and other settings countless times and couldn't figure out the cuase. A week ago or so I bought some JBL blutooth headphones, and the Skyrim volume seems to be normal with these. I don't know if it's a driver compatibility setting or what, but there's definitely something going on.
Karna5
Post Script: In the advanced properties of your sound hardware, make sure you have enabled: Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device, and Give exclusive mode applicates priority. I've noticed that without these settings enabled, one program can mute to near inaudibility the sound output in games. For instance, without it set, if you try to record something, the sound in the game mutes to almost non-existent while the recording itself gets full sound. When it's enabled, both the recording and the game get full volume. Except, of course, for whatever is going on with my BTH headphones.
FelipeMA88
Hello. Sometimes, some mods that change audio files, ended up needing more control scripts to work. This problems happened to me after i installed Environmental mods. Try this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/49010 You can control sounds that are reduced, or can add more control bars depending on what mod are you using. If you are using audio mods or mods with included sounds, sometimes will create conflicts with vanilla sounds. You can try this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/77815 If you have mods like Immersive Sounds or Sounds of Skyrim you may have to look for compatibilities or fixes patchs for integration. Theres also another case, if i remember MO2 doesn't support wav, xwm or fuz audio files. If this mod you installed are using this files you may need a plugin for that to work. Hope it help.
