OpenMW / Tamriel Rebuilt - Frequent crashes and slow startup

Hello all, I was hoping someone knows why my game keeps crashing. I'm running OpenMW 4.8 with mod organizer 2. I have the latest install of tamriel rebuilt and tamriel_data. On startup, the openmw executable appears to freeze for several minutes before the game starts. It plays fine, except for crashes about every half hour. I get a crash report saved in the my documents/openmw folder.

I've tried changing the load order and removed all other mods, but that doesn't help. It seems to be the tamriel_data file, but I could be mistaken.

If anyone has an idea of how to fix this, I'd appreciate that very much!

Never mind! I figured out the issue. It was due to poor interaction between MO2 and OpenMW. When I run the game (even with mods) directly from OpenMW, there's no problem at all. I'm leaving this in case anyone else has a similar problem.

Yah, I have MO2 for other games, but I haven't tried it with OpenMW yet.  So far, OpenMW's built-in mod manager has been enough for the few Morrowind mods I have.

Also, if you're looking for the Morrowind forums here, they're in Game Communities at the top of any forum page (on desktop 🖥), or in the ≡ menu > Browse > Game Communities (on mobile ).  Look for Morrowind there  and click Join Community on it to post there.
