Valheim- how do i make the mods work in game?

I am a complete newb when it comes to this stuff.. i have installed vortex and the mods i want.. bepenex etc.. it says the mods are enabled but it wont let me launch the game... as seen in my screenshot, I cant launch from the box that says 4 mods installed... but i can launch from the box on the top left... which obviously doesnt load any mods.
what am i doing wrong?

Go to Game Communities up top, and look for Valheim in there.  Someone there will probably know (click Join Community there to post), and I know I've seen links to modding guides there.

(I have Valheim, but I haven't tried to mod it yet.)
