Mod Organizer 2.5.2 CTD and deletes itself...every time.

Hello, I recently started playing SF again and wanted get stuff updated. I previously had a version of MO2 that no longer functioned after the game update. The problem I was having was Base Game files (the 003,006, 008 and 007 esms) just prior to launch. The game will run, though mods that have those as masters don't work. I found an updated MO2 on github and that problem went away, however now MO2 crashes and deletes its executable when launching.

I would very much appreciate anyone's input on what to do. All I want to do is fake shoot some fake space pirate scum, lol.

Things I've Tried:

complete removal of MO2
fresh install of Starfield via Steam
Re installation of MO2 versions 2.50, 2.5.1fcr2, 2.5.2 and 2.5.2fcr2...(this were supposed to resolve the ability to exclude the aforementioned base game files)
- They did succeed in doing so, however ctd when using MO2 to launch
- thought it might be troubles with SFSE, so removed it, and only included mods that don't require it...same result of ctd.

An added wrinkle that I'm baffled at is the uninstallation of the MO2 executable. Every time. I can reinstall MO2 (any version) upon a system restart just fine, but when I attempt to launch either SFSE or Starfeld exe, MO2.exe along with the desktop short cut disappears. Completely. I'm left with the entire directory minus the executable until i do a restart and reinstall. Even stranger, the executables held within the starfield directory launch just fine, including SFSE loader. The File paths within MO2 are all accurate. I've been using this manager for a long  and I haven't seen anything like this.

NOTE: may or may not be related: I can only reinstall MO2 immediately after a restart. Upon game load failure and removal of MO2 shortcut and .exe, nothing can be installed (a new MO2 .exe) to the folder. It just crashes or tells me I don't have access. I've fiddled a lot with file and network sharing. Doesn't seem to be a problem with anything else. Again, I can reinstall once after a restart, then failure and back to the drawing board. Any ideas? I searched for this problem and and only found 1 other that had similar problem with Skyrim... left unresolved. I attempted to join discord and once I sold my personal data soul to them I've been denied entry. Any official MO2 people are unreachable. Please help me kill fake space pirates again.

MO2 2.4.2 and 2.5.0 both work with an identical installation procedure to the one I've used for MO2 2.5.2.

THAT'S IT!!! I had 48 records of it messing up my pirate killing time. Thank you!! I had thought of that, but since my installs of prior versions worked, and the install procedure was identical I figured that dismissed it as a possibility.

AV's can be quite fickle. 😄
