CTD on my SSE GOG 1.6.659

Hi, I apologize for the english, I use a translator.
I'm here to ask for help, I've often encountered CTDs too often... everything freezes, and after about a minute the CTD occurs.
Below is the link to my crash log. It seems like a Microsoft problem, but I'm not able to decipher these things, I'll wait confidently for some good soul to give me a hand!

Hello.

Ok. So first, you are using trainwreck, witch at least for me doesn't give a good LOG. I really recommend use this instead: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/59818

If you want stay with trainwreck try use this here to generate a better log: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/89860

Now just guessing here, maybe is TrueDirectionalMovement.dll that is causing CTD for you.

😉

Thanks for the reply!

I already installed CLA together with Trainwreck... I used Crash Logger, but it stopped creating logs, I know it also inserts the list of mods, but I don't know why it doesn't work anymore.

Regarding True Directional Movement, I've always used it and it never gave me problems, I looked at the previous logs, and it doesn't appear.
Doing some research it seems that the cause could be ntdll.dll but I have no idea how to solve it in that case. I'll also leave the previous crash log, in case it can be useful:

Look if you think that the problem is the "ntdll.dll" file from .NET, then try reinstall or repair your .NET Framework.

Here's the link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653

If this doen't work you can try this: Video Here

Since i don't fully understand trainwreck log's i can't help more then that.

Good luck 🤗

Thanks for the tips, unfortunately I still have blocks and CTD, two when I entered an inn. So I guess it's not that.
I'm trying to figure it out, but it's complicated if trainwreck doesn't always create logs either.

If you got ctd when entering a internal space, try see if there's any mod that changes internal spaces, like the JK's Collection..

At this point if you don't find a solution you only have two options:

1. Disable all mods and test one by one (using a clean save)

OR

2. Find a way to make the Crash Logger work again

Good luck 🫡

Yes it happens to me often in the internals, I use JK mods and also Hylios, I have to review the patches maybe... anyway I'm also trying to make the crash logger work by trying different versions, maybe sooner or later it will succeed! 😆
Disabling the mods is a scary prospect given the large number that I have installed (also due to the various requirements!), I hope I don't have to do it 😱

Well, you could try testing by halves, instead.  Back up your load order first.  Then disable the bottom half, see if the problem still happens in a new save.  Keep going, halving again each part you haven't ruled out yet.

I tried disabling some animation mods, but well, it didn't work.
Thanks for the advice AaronOfMpls I can actually create a new profile in vortex and start a new testing game from there, but I'll leave it as an emergency solution, because finally crash logger worked! Here's my umpteenth CTD ✨

https://pastebin.com/2fmARnW3

Update: I saw that Better Third Person Selection is repeated a lot in the log, I tried disabling it, but again another CTD.

Update 2: This CTD happened outside, in Solitude, while the previous one is inside the Winking Skeever.

UOOOOO calm down, Jesus Christ, it's been a long time since I saw a crashlog this size hahahaha.....ok ok let's debug this. Dear lord help me 😅

First: Some errors regarding the SkyrimSE.exe executable are showing memory reading failure. In short, the game is using a lot of memory and your system is not paging it. I advise you to increase your virtual memory.

Here's a guide: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/technical-reference/the-paging-file-size-should-exceed-the-amount-of-physical-ram-in-the-system

I also found errors in loading the SMP on some NPCs. If you are using KS hair on NPC's, you need this fix: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/91616

EngineFixes.dll also shows a library error. You need to install this: All in one Address Library (Anniversary Edition): https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32444

I recommend downloading again: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230 (Part 1) SSE Engine Fixes for 1.6.629-1.6.640 and (Part 2) Engine Fixes - skse64 Preloader and TBB Lib. Remembering that PART 2 needs to be extracted it to your main Skyrim folder manually; it cannot be installed with a mod manager. This is required or the skse plugin won't load.

The next problem is the biggest: XPMSSE. 15 errors in total. Oh my god !!

It seems like a grouping error where he tries to create effects and then can't find them....I confess I didn't understand it correctly. What you can try first is:

Install the groups creation fix (ONLY IF YOU USE NEMESIS): https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/60363

If that doesn't work, at least for now I don't have a solution. Disable the XPMSE.esp mod. I advise you to go to the mod page, go to "POSTS" and in the search bar put XPMSEWeaponStyleScaleEffect.GetWornAmmoType()

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1988?tab=posts&BH=0

You will find other people who have had the same error. From what I saw the problem is in relation to which program was used to create animations (FNIS, NEMESIS, etc...).

Now I have some recommendations:

Update Visual Studio even if you already have it installed: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170

Install this fix: Bug Fixes SSE - Anniversary Edition (1.6.629.0 and later) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/33261

Install this fix for physics: SSE Display Tweaks: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34705

Install this fix for NPC'S: Actor Limit Fix - Anniversary Edition (1.6.629.0 and later): https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32349

Use LOOT to sort your mod's order.

THAT'S IT FOR TODAY!!!

An hour and a half to analyze this log!!! You owe me a drink!!! 😂

And this time, even if you already have something I said here, install it again!!!

Good Luck !!!!
