ShizenJonetsu
I am using Vortex 1.12.2. Since like 3 days I can't seem to install any mods with vortex, either with mod manager download or manual download and install. It is not game specific since I tried it on both Fallout: New Vegas and Stardew Valley. For example I'm trying to install Dust - Survival Mode for New Vegas and I get this error in the picture with the "Invalid installer" notification on the top right. I have tried installing this mod on multiple other mod managers and it worked every time so I am positive the problem here is Vortex. Again, this is just an example, I am getting this error on EVERY mod I try to install. Any help will be appreciated.
Nagev
Hi there, You probably have a community developed extension which registered an installer incorrectly. Can you please go to Vortex's extensions page and disable your 3rd party game extensions one by one, starting with the latest one you installed (if you remember which one it was) Let us know which extension is causing that so we can contact its author.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I haven't installed any extensions by myself, I only have the ones that came with Vortex since I didn't touch the extensions tab, ever. Solution ShizenJonetsu Posted August 16 Author Solution Share Posted August 16 (edited) I think I found the problem. If the mod staging folder path has letters that are not in the English language (for example İ,ü,ö) invalid installer happens. If you come across the same problem, just change your mod staging folder location from Settings>Mods Edited August 17 by ShizenJonetsu
