anjenthedog
Long long ago, I downloaded mods to 'springify' Skyrim, because the constant visual whiteout was a bit too bleak for my liking. Yet my LOD (downloaded, not generated) does still show snow at times, especially when I'm way up in the mountains and also looking at a distant mountain (where I still see snow, at least sometimes) Got it in my head this morning while scanning the latest nexus mods (one is a grass mod) how cool it'd be if there was a mod that could blend "the best of both worlds" by making lower elevations springlike (via springtime in Skyrim and or any similar mods), and yet when up above some threshold elevation, the vanilla (and/or other snow mods) would kick in. Maybe make the threshold settable via an MCM. I think it'd be an interesting immersive addition. Probably a bit of a programming challenge too
BlazeStryker
Seasons of Skyrim has some solutions, at least for regions under the snowline. It is, of course, very weighty and depends on dynDOLOD. (Personally, I wish there were patched for iNeed and Hunterborn for forage chances to be reflected by season rather than just geography. But that's for another thread, I fear)
Inthesaaand
This is a good idea, I wonder if it might be possible for the clever folk to update existing season or 'springify' mods so that they only work up to a certain elevation? Would adaption of existing mods be any less of a programming challenge than a new mod to cover this? I haven't the first clue but I'd be genuinely surprised if either couldn't be done.
