One issue I have with that is, what is offensive? Isn't that something that's more or less up for debate? I mean racial, homophobic, and other forms of slurs, I can understand. Other than that, it's kind of debatable what is offensive and what isn't.

Slurs, discriminatory statements, obsceneties - its not hard to just not do that. I am not like that in real life either. But I am fairly confrontational sometimes and my way to get around that here is, I just never engage when topics are brought up, that anger me (its futile to discuss with certain ppl anyways). I wouldn´t call anyone names or such, but when it gets out of hand, i´d rather not be part of it. Whenever I would enter the area of "debatable" I just step back and don´t go there. ^^ ( but that can happen accidentaly or due to a misunderstanding and that worries me a bit)

I see. I've looked at the site, but I'm a little iffy about it. I made an account for LoversLab under a different name to sort of scout it (because I don't want to upload my stuff to a website that I don't trust) and that place seems quite hostile, in my opinion.

The way the site is designed is quite hostile (user unfriendly), but the ppl are nice (at least the few times I read the forums there). Just be aware that every kink under the sun (and all the ones hiding from it lol) are featured there.

I saw that. I'm not one to judge people for what they like because, truth be told, I'm into some pretty weird stuff myself.

Seriously, some of the stuff I'm into makes me wonder about myself.

I've co-authored a few mods over the years on that site. As drsemmel said, the community of authors there is very friendly. Also when I need to figure out something super complicated, I usually am able to get help there because a lot of the experts (at least in Fallout 4) haunt that site more than here. The communities overlap, but there are differences. The other site is generally more technical.

This said, since my Fallout 4 died a few months ago, probably permanently, I'm unlikely to ever contribute or participate in the technical stuff there anymore.

Maybe for skyrim se/ae? There are much more working SL mods and developments (Ostim) for Skyrim than FO4 anyways. I am sure, contribution is very welcome! 🙂

Well, I am not one for kink shaming, but there are kinks, that need to be shamed (things, authorities would kick your door down for). I do differentiate however between rl and mods in a video game. I would never be judgemental about someones fantasies.
I just wanted to mention it to you since you are very young. (pls don´t take it as me beeing patronizing 🙂 )

What do you mean? I haven't played Fallout 4 in over a year, and I was planning to return to it.

I appreciate it.

Just to clarify, I'm not into anything the police would kick my door down or even investigate me for. It's all 100% legal, so there's no need for concern there. I have gotten some adult mods from here and LL that match what I'm into, and I do really enjoy it. Having said that, I know how to separate reality from fantasy and fiction because my parents are competent and raised me right (unlike most parents nowadays). I would say what I'm into, but let's just say it's stuff I'm not sure is appropriate for Nexus.

Hmm, I must have been tired when I typed that and got time wrong. It's been several months since I was able to play Fallout 4, but not a year.

Here's a link to the status of my game when I last tried to get it working, if you're curious.

For you or for new players, Fallout 4 should work fine. However, I use Fusion Girl with OCBPC, and OCBPC has not been updated to the "next gen" patch which came out for Fallout 4. At this point I suspect it will not get updated.

This doesn't affect you, however, as there is a different form of physics which has been updated (the update is on Loverslab, not Nexus, fyi). If I recall correctly it's OCBP which got updated (not OCBPC, the last C standing for collision).

If you check the link you'll see I get game breaking pop ups and menus I can't close. There are mods in my game which are simply not compatible, and I'm unwilling to start over with a different suite of mods. Hence I'm here at Skyrim AE 🙂

I see. To be honest, I think it's kind of dumb that Bethesda is updating old games instead of just focusing on new ones. With games like Destiny 2, that kind of thing makes sense because the game is a work in progress, and new chapters are always being added, kind of like a TV show, where new episodes are added regularly. Of course, the game could have been way better, but that's just me. I still enjoyed it. Destiny 2 aside, with games like Skyrim or Fallout 4, adding new things doesn't make sense. Elder Scrolls 6 would likely already be out if they just put their resources and time into it instead of beating a dead horse. Well, Skyrim isn't precisely a dead horse because many people still play it, but that's beside the point. The game has run its course, and most people who still play it only do so for mods, at least, as far as I can tell.

See, thats how good I am at putting my foot in it ^^ 😄
No, I am not concerned that you do illegal stuff and I am sure, your parents raised you right 🙂  I just wanted to point out that the rabbithole that is LL can get pretty dark sometimes.

Not from their perspective. With the re-introduction of Creations they make good money with it (again).

Ok, that clears it up for my as to why you won´t return to FO4 😕
