nvidia driver bug - app selector resets to first entry everytime - mswin10

There is an annoying nvidia bug that not been able to fix for about 5+ years!   Every-time, I try to set an app setting. The select keeps switching back to the first entry. I can't find any solution, nothing works.

Does anyone have the fix?   I'm stuck.

 

No mswin11, has that cpu sucking and privacy 'ai co- pilot' that you can't uninstall (NOT disable).

Still have the same problem with the updated windows 10x64 and nvidia drivers. Tried the nvidia cleaner send from nvidia tech support. No effect.

Need help.
