Jaguar19738
Hi Again In regards to the Bodyshaper which is used when adjusting the proportions of your characters and linking that size to that particular outfit. Why is the base Model Skin patchy? Also, can you apply the Bodyshaper sizes to Clothing Mods that are not Vanilla and if so how? Thanks
Jaguar19738
I see no one has been able to answer a question like this, I only ask such questions as up until recently I only got my Mods from Bethesda, so getting Mods and such from Nexus is new to me. I have the DLing Mods bit sorted, but I still have questions about certain mods. Edited September 21 by Jaguar19738 rewording a section
subaverage
I don't know whether I understand your question right. With the bodyshaper you mean the triangle in character creation? Clothings should follow the body shape that you apply with this tool as long as they have morphing, fit to the vanilla body in general and are equipped. In my eyes you use this tool only when you don't have a body replacer like CBBE or Body Talk. In case you have e.g. "CBBE" installed you would set the triangle to the middle and use "Bodyslide" to adjust body and clothings. These settings will be persistent. Regarding the question to the Model Skin an image would be helpful.
Jaguar19738
The CBBE Utility program is used to adjust your character's body shape to a certain set of Vanilla outfits. When last I had it installed through Vortex the Model's Skin was a mix of dirty skin and clean pink skin (I wish I had thought of taking a screenshot at the time) Made the Model's skin look like Frankenstein skin patches of different skin (Only way I can describe it) Well when I used it on particular Vanilla Outfits the face and neck had normal colour skin, but the rest of the body and hands were patchy with two different colour skins, Vanilla skin and a Modded skin. I noticed in the Body Shaper utility you could only assign Vanilla clothes to the model, how would I, IF possible use the same process BUT on the Clothing Mods I have? I hope this clarifies my question. Thanks
subaverage
26 minutes ago, Jaguar19738 said: The CBBE Utility program is used to adjust your character's body shape to a certain set of Vanilla outfits. "CBBE" is just a body replacer that comes with some predifined shapes. Trying to equip vanilla clothings to it can lead to the problems you noticed as "CBBE" has a different body skin. For "CBBE" you need converted clothings. With the mod come almost all vanilla clothings already converted if you want to. The tool to adjust the body and outfits is "Bodyslide and Outfit Studio" for all outfits/ clothings that are converted to it. You create your body first and then build the clothings to fit this shape. These settings are persistent as long as do not change them again. Trying to apply non vanilla clothings to the vanilla body would be question of trial and error.
Jaguar19738
Thanks @subaverage The base Model with Bodyslide had patchy skin before I assigned Vanilla outfits. Is there a way to unify the skin colour?
subaverage
I am still not sure to understand you right. So I would like to start in the beginning: Do you use a body replacer? If yes, which one? Do you get the patchy skin on the nude body?
Jaguar19738
It is okay @subaverage you helped out when you mentioned the Help vid, I took a look at it and I realised that the Bodyslide was using the Vanilla skin which was clashing with the body slide as I had not installed the skin mod that is meant for it, so that is why I had the body model image I did. I will wait till I start a new game before I use the Body slide mod again, as there are some other mods I have seen which look good.
