Philipshari
I'm having an issue with the mod Nuskin New You where you cannot open the door to the basement with the card reader. I downloaded the Nexus mod "Unofficial fixes which included the fix for this but the description does not say where I should place the zip files extraction. I actually placed the files in a few sub directories within the Fallout London location but the door won't open. Can anyone clarify their solution you used to get this door opened. Thanks! HeyYou
It's prolly just a single esp file in the zip archive, need to extract it to your data folder, and then make sure the game knows to load it. Are you using any sort of mod manager?
Philipshari
thanks FOR THE REPLY. Just to be sure, your talking about the data folder for Fallout London and not Fallout 4? Actually I'm not using a manager on London as I've been using Vortex on Fallout 4 for years, but I have not tried to setup Vortex with London and I am running a few mods from Nexus on London to speed up loading screens (mod accelerator) that are working ok. It didn't seem like Vortex wanted to identify Falloout London when I looked at it last week so I passed on using it. I'm guessing that's a better way to go but how do I get Vortex to identify London? Thank you for helping me. 70 y/o retired gamer. "There's no better way to spend retirement!"
HeyYou
I am not familiar with London.... You *should* be able to manually point vortex at where it is though.... It likely doesn't find it, as it doesn't even know to look for it. If the mod is *just* an esp file, extract it to the data folder, use the in-game 'mods' menu to activate it. I *think* that should work......
