DirebearCoat
Radiant quests, or "The Jarl put out a bounty..." are fun... Were fun, but my character keeps getting sent to the same ones, over and over. I found a mod called, "Don't send me there again," that I will install sometime in the future that corrects this issue. Once you get sent to a location, you don't get sent to that location again - is how it works. My question is how does the radiant quest system work? Do you need to discover the cave, mine, castle ruins, before you get sent on the radiant to that location, or can your character get sent to an undiscovered mine, cave, castle ruin as well? scorrp10
Definitely can get sent to a place you never been to before. 1
7531Leonidas
FYI - you may also get sent to a location inside or outside of Skyrim, that is otherwise quest-locked. This can cause problems in and of itself, especially with quest targets not appearing/getting killed and removed. 1
scorrp10
The mechanism of filling the location alias in a radiant quest can be fairly murky. I am away from my Skyrim setup, so I can't really tell exactly, but radiants are generally spawned via "change location" SM event, and alias is randomly picked from the arrival location provided by the event. There are some keyword-based restrictions that make sure you will not get a radiant in an inaccessible location, but many modders forget to add those.
