Breakpoint Deployment failed

I am using vortex and tried using only the vortex method of modding including running Vortex as Administrator. I disabled virus protection and made sure the game was not running and even restarted the pc. 

On almost all the mods I tried I constantly have the warning / error that Deployment failed and have no idea how to resolve it. Is the intend to revert to manual processes or should the process work from start to finish using only vortex?

What drive is you mod staging folder on, and what drive is the game on?

I have the exact same issue--- no deployment method enabled,  but when the troubleshooting menu comes up, none of the suggestions are applicable (Apply Fix is deactivated). Yes, I have Vortex, the Mod Staging folder and the game on the same drive. The odd thing is that Vortex can recognize file conflicts, but it cannot seem to actually manage the deployment of mods, thus the only option seems to be manual mode, which of course leaves one at the mercy of the robustness and clarity of the Mod author's instructions (if they even bothered to include those instructions at all). 

 

I find it puzzling that the extension itself doesn't seem to have a page or background info dedicated for it anywhere on the site, at least as far as I can tell.
