DecisiveWatchfulman Posted September 23, 2024 Share Posted September 23, 2024 (edited) Hello, so recently i have ran into issues with a mod or something and like a month into my gameplay i ran into a few problems. The problem: In the image provided I keep getting a message I am overcome with desires (probably a adult mod) and it repeats every second. Every second it keeps repeating (maybe a script error?) this is not my biggest issue though, my biggest problem is when i keep playing the game the game gets slower like the menus take time opening. For example i use proteus to change the weather to my liking and when i load to a previous save where the desire problem didn't exist it used to load after 2 seconds but as i keep playing from the desired save my load time kept increasing from 2 seconds to 5 secs to 10 secs etc. I usually noticed the proteus take time with the weather throughout my gameplay but that didn't bother me because it was always under 5 seconds. The load time for menus starting bothering me is when i started playing dress up with my characters, I use a outfit change mod to make outfit presets for characters so the load time for it is so annoying because i have to go through a lot of menus and also magic menus inventory menus all sort of menus are taking a lot of time to load. The load times keep increasing as i play and or when i save. If anyone can help me out it would be most appreciated. scorrp10 Posted September 23, 2024 Share Posted September 23, 2024 I suggest getting Fallrim Tools (ReSaver) and examining you save files for numbers of script instances. I.e. open two saves from about an hour of gameplay apart and compare between them. The menus lagging and load times can be directly related - the game is processing more things at same time, causing the lag. Those messages, seem similar to 'Sensual Needs', but a re not same. I suggest going to your Data/Source/Scripts folder and grepping for 'desires'. (I use GrepWin for this) No guarantee mod author has included source scripts with the mod, but if they did... 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
