How to make out of "fuz" file a mod (esp/esm)?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys. Im really newbie with modding at etc, so my question is probably a bit stupid, but i still need help 🥲

So, question is, how to make out of my changed "fuz" a mod? (probably esm and esp file)

What i did:

i took Skyrim - Voices_en0.bsa

with BAE turned into fuz/lip (voicepowers_shout03_00013e02_1.fuz)

then to "wav" with Yakitori

(edited)

turned "wav" back to "fuz".

I guess it should be turned somehow into "esm" and/or "esp" (not sure), so that someone can download and etc 🫠

Maybe im missing something and that's not how you do it 😭

Talking about what im doing... There's mod with playable children, but they dont use voicepowers_shout, probably because of new race which didnt get that settings or something, but still first of all i need to change these voices (higher tone). 🙃

If you are overwriting 1-to-1, keeping the same file names, you don't need to do anything, except create an empty esp file with the same name as your bsa.  This is a signal for the game to load the bsa; if you leave your files loose (not wrapped in a bsa), you don't event need that.

Otherwise, just 7zip your files and upload.

Well, im not sure...

Im changing voice files, and these .fuz files were located at sound\voice\skyrim.esm\maleargonian in "Voices_en0.bsa"

So does it mean, that i just need to create BSA with all these changed .fuz files with this direction (sound/...)?

Well, i managed to create BSA with my files, i wonder if there's a need for esm/esp... Although i have no idea how to create them and with what inside 😅

I am afraid what you are doing is 100% wrong.  Replacing those would only make in-game adult players shout in high voices.

You would need to trace through how player shouts are implemented, replicate those for playable children voicetypes, and likely add children voice types to certain lists/conditions used for shouts.

Oh yeah you are right. Well, its not like im playing with adults anyway, so i really dont care, kinda boring after 500+ new games as adult 😅

So i found out that i dont even need ESM and ESP, even BSA is not necessary, and its enough to paste folder "voice" into folder "Sound" in data, and as to how to uninstall - just delete it, since there's nothing else than what i just pasted.

Main problem was, that this mod (RS Children) added race, but didnt add to it "connections" as you mentioned for voices, and then i found out about mod "RS Children -- Red Kid Revolver" which optional adds Adult voices to children races, and just by changing these adult voices i got same for children 😃✌️

A bit work on these voices for better result and maybe even someone wouldn't mind to use them, since there's nothing like that for playable children. 🧐

Anyway, thanks, helped a lot to find a solution 🫡

Sorry about my English
