NEXUSMODSUSER211212
a mod that makes it so your neighbors, like for example, Mr. Rosa, end up surviving and getting ghoulified without turning feral, thus removing the random encounter and making a new one or placing all of them in diverse places across the commonwealth, make them recruitable settlers too. and a mod that makes the frozen people on vault 111 live, (except for nore) empty the pods and put them outside of the vault as recruitable settlers
ImmortalAbsol
I've wanted a similar thing where the feral neighbours can be captured and tamed with the beta wave emitter (or some mentats and island fog remedy, same function as what the Ghoul in the TV show has), and the frozen neighbours can be resuscitated with some combination of Curie's medical knowledge and the mysterious serum. Just because. Or. You collect samples from the frozen/feral neighbours and make synths of them. Neither scenario is realistic or completely accurate to the games logic, but I prefer it to undoing their previously established vanilla stories. The ferals could provide security like Junkyard Dogs and the pre-war residents could provide happiness.
rsm000rsm
Not exactly what was requested, but there is this: Many More Survivors - 60 Summonable PreWar Settlers at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community I reused most (if not all) of the pre-war faces in my Diverse series, too, although I "wastelanderized" them. BlazeStryker
I have often thought that Kellogg's mission orders including the killing of the other 111 survivors (make no mistake; it was deliberate since the SS was considered to be the "backup" were callous and wasteful. I can guess why this was done, of course. scripting out the shock and stages of coping (or failing to) for the other 10 cryotube residents, including their rage at Vault-tec and pity toward Nate or Nora would have been what Fallout 4's scripting lead hated more than anything else... scripting. (The ass was the Severus Snape of game scripting...) If there were people with talent (which includes me out, as Sam Goldwyn would have put it) interested in further modding rsm000rsm's mod, they'd have to script in how the neighbors and Codsworth get along, what any sticking around Sanctuary hills have been doing, their reaction to Preston and his crew...
