RadiationBacon
Hey people, I'm new to modding via external tools and ran into an issue today setting up my mods via Vortex. I installed MCM via https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21497?tab=files into Vortex, and the mod is showing correctly under the "Mods" tab. However, when I launch my game (using the F4SE launcher), the mod isn't showing up in my pauze menu. I did some troubleshooting and noticed that MCM is missing in the "Plugins" tab. I did also check the ...\Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins folder, and MCM.dll is installed there. I even did a manual install and did a one-by-one check for all the MCM-related files; all are accounted for. So I'm kind of stuck. Is there anyone here that can help me out here because MCM is kind of vital for all my other mods. Thanks in advance! subaverage
MCM does not have a plugin file. So it is not shown under plugins. You have to make sure that your F4SE and MCM match your game version. For next-gen there is a update on the MCM mod page.

Oh, that makes allot more sense now, I did completely miss that the "beta file" is the next gen update compatible MCM. I installed that one and everything is working perfect! Thanks for the feedback.
