jjb54
The problem with alternative sound mods is you have to make sure you do *NOT* have other Sound Mods .... The other problem is, *IF* you loaded this at the start of a new game, you will likely have to restart the game over. *IF* you did not ... *IF* you have a prior save b/4 you installed this mod -> GO BACK TO IT <- Also, just an FYI - IF / WHEN You install a new mod during a game: 1st -> MAKE A BACK UP OF THE GAME WITHOUT THE MOD - so you can fall back onto it *IF* this happens. subaverage
If it's really the mod that crashes your game maybe there are still remains of it in your game. You could manually download the mod or look into the preview on the modpage and check whether you still have files of it in your game.

I installed the mod on an existing game and there were other weapon sounds installed, but no pip boy sounds. If I now uninstall the sound mod for Pip Boy and load a previous savegame and activate the pip boy ingame, I still get a crash. I don't understand. I installed the mod via Mod Organizer 2 and deleted it there as well. Everything is deleted. The whole separate mod folder will be deleted. Which is created via Mod Oranizer 2 Or do I have to delete a text file somewhere where the mod appears.
subaverage
I don't kow how MO2 installs mods. The modmanager I use installs mods in the ...Fallout 4\Data folder. In case of your mod under ...\Fallout 4\Data\sound\fx. You could check whether you find remains of the mod there. The preview in the file section of the modpage shows you the complete structure.
