Kinda wonder if I can forbid mod author to integrate my submod into original mod without my permission?

Well, they're not allowed to use your mod's assets without your permission; that's in Nexus policies already.  But if they make a similar modification from scratch to their own mod (without using your mod's assets), then there's not much you can do about it.  ...Or at least that's my understanding of it.

(Didn't you post something about this in Mod Authors or Site Support a while back?)

Long ago I read the mod mechanic tool users rights.  I don't know if that's what they call the companies creation kits rules.   Literally we start our journey using the owners mod kit.  That's like going into their shop and asking if you can use their tools.  While doing so you may be sharing your ideas while you're in their forum threads about the tools we're using and giving out our ideas without concern.

So why be concerned if they stick your mod into a collection?  It's your mod.

That's the way I looked at it.  My mod, for my personal use.  On my computer only.  I posted about my plans of the Mod I was making.

One day, not very many weeks after I did, I noted a couple of new mods from the owners, that resembled mine that they made a DLC to sell us.  I didn't know any of the owners of the tools were at this forum and it was kind of surprising to find out that they came up with a similar idea for their DLC.  I even bought it.

I wondered if the owners of the modding tool are hanging around in this forum, or someone else may have told them, where did they get the same theme for their model DLC?

Wasn't what I was creating, but their name of the DLC made it seem like they were hanging around.

I found it frustrating to have my theme appear almost a few months after I already started working on mine.

It made me unhappy that I didn't get to play around tool with their Tools and share in any ideas they had to create a mod.  It's creation didn't get me employment at the company.

Instead I quit posting about anything about my mods I was planning on.  I went Offline for a whole year up to the day and Month.  I came back with the starter mod their DLC seemed to have been named in a variation so it wasn't mine's title exactly.  A work in progress still.  i also came back another I made for another game I played because I knew, after all the experience I gained it would be acceptable.  I got almost 400 downloads on the second one.  The one they made up didn't even remotely have what I was modding.  So, No Biggy!

I happily played their DLC and have no regrets.

Unless a bunch of people recommend you upload such a fine mod, don't do it if you feel it will be used and abused getting twisted in among other peeps mods you might not want it to be in.
