seems to be causing it?  Just a wild guess really.  So what is causing it? Well, I guess Russel might be set to his own race, and that a face texture is missing or point at the wrong file. Load up GECK, look at the races and have a peek or use FNVedit and peek at the races, and the last one might be easier to use in this case really. Add any face to that path and see what happens. You can use my male face for F3 there I guess. I will soon update with more male faces as well.

To see where to add the path for the texture, do peek inside the races in the FalloutNV.esm in FNVedit

Damn...  Russel do have an unique face texture...  And he looks great as well. I just took a look at him. I guess you miss a dependency, lets see...

Those might also need dependencies...    So my conclusion right now is that he is his own race. Just look at Willow, as she is also her own race. 

I might try that mod myself a nice day later on, not right now. It sure looks cool really. Damn.. 

You can also check other Russel mods, in their file content, if not any of those has a texture\character\xxxXrusselXxx\face.dds or something like that. You just have to look around really. So what about FCOmaster.esm?

@wfandrewsYes there is. Tell us hows it going, if you did solve it or not, as I wanna know if you did. I might test Russel next weekend and then I can provide a better answer as well.

I tried deactivating any mod which had a Russell patch or anything relating to Russell one at a time and then going to a save I made with Russell in it but nothing made a difference.

I ended up just uninstalling the mod.

The funny thing  is I have played the game before with Russell and never had a problem.

before this I tried New Vegas Bounties LE but did not enjoy that as much as the original so uninstalled that and installed the original New Vegas Bountie's and started a new game.

I wonder if when I uninstalled that mod it left some script behind as sometimes happens when uninstalling a large mod.

What I am going to do is uninstall FNV completely and then reinstall it. As I have the GOG edition it is fairly easy to uninstall and reinstall the game. I am one of those people who is constantly starting a new game anyway so it is no biggie. It will take me some time to get to where Russell is in my new game but when I do I will post the result here.
