QuillweaveMods
Hello all. A couple of days ago I released my first Fallout 4 mod, but unfortunately since then quite a few players and now I myself have run into an issue with it, but I have no idea how to actually fix it. The mod is a compilation of different character decals for making custom signage, and the issue is that sometimes, for no clear reason I can figure out, the letters just don't show up at all. This can happen right away, with a few letters that just need more time to load in, but worryingly it also seems to happen sometimes on reloading a save - the letters that have already been placed are invisible, and the symbols have an ugly black background that wasn't there before. For reference, this is the mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/89547 'This Is Your Sign' It is currently set to hidden, but if anyone is willing to take a look or thinks they might have an inkling what's wrong, I'll happily unhide it for inspection or share it directly. I can't really find any rhyme or reason to it and I've tried a few troubleshooting things, including uploading a different version of the BA2 repackaged for Next Gen and the loose files in case that might help folks, but no dice. Honestly, I'm very embarrassed to have released a mod plagued by issues even mistakenly, and I never would have released it yet if I'd realized these problems existed. Can anyone help me diagnose the issue and maybe find a fix? I'm still very new to modding especially on a larger scale like this and I'm not really sure where to start. Thanks very, very much for any help!
363rdChemicalCompany
Greta idea for a mod! While I cannot tell you how to fix it, you might want to consider "hiding" it . Users can then get a message that you are working on it.
QuillweaveMods
Thank you! I actually was debating hiding it because while I definitely don't want more people to download it while it's glitchy, I also hope people more experienced than me might be able to look at it, and if I hide it they can't see it themselves. I can always share it directly if needed for anyone who can help, though, so that might be my best shout just to prevent more difficulties. I'll go ahead and hide it now.
