kktyr45
could anyone maybe help me? i found out through Vortex i could mark some mods as ESL files so i did it to a few mods i thought wouldnt be affect mainly patch mods, NPC face changers, and a few lightweight mods but now the game crashes on start, is there any way to revert what i did to help locate the problem? heres my crash log if it helps at all https://pastebin.com/ZhifCtke Edit i somehow fixed the issue but idk how, only possible explanation is is clicking "restore save game plugins" in the saves tab fixed it Edited December 1 by kktyr45
jjb54
Turn *OFF* ( disable ) all your mods and see if the game starts? > If it does - then obviously it's a mod. > Then turn on 2 - 4 mods at a time ( no more ) and load game until you find the mod ( mods ) that are creating the problem. BlazeStryker
While we're on the subject, some mods can be ESL files but don't actually work if you give them an ESL flag. Mods that add to Looksmenu options and are not already ESL flagged by the mod author are a very good example.
