Multiple presets cbbe mainly for NPC (Bodyslide questions)

Hi everyone, I have a problem with body slide and I can’t find any answers online. So I have multiple presets for cbbe and I’ve created an output file in bodyslide but I don’t understand, each time I press batch build does it create a unique body preset with all its clothes and armours?

If yes then how do I create multiple bodyslide presets so my diverse body mod can choose from? Do I have to press the batch build each time with the same output folder?

I do have different presets from other amazing modders but some clothes clip through unfortunately so I decided to take matters to my own hands. Any help I would appreciate it tenfold

tl;dr how do I create a folder with multiple cbbe presets with working outfits so I can use in my diverse body mod

Bodyslide in it's default version and settings creates exactly one body. In case of a female body with morphs enabled the files created are femalebody.nif and femalebody.tri in the folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\meshes\actors\character\characterassets (for Steam version). This means that all females share this shape and you have only the variations the games creates itself. With a special mod you can divide the bodies in player character, followers (one body for each) and the rest of the npcs. The mod needed is (all three files): https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26108. Then there are some mods that add more variety to settlers, but if you want to create and assign your presets you don't come around "Unique Player and Followers Redux" in my eyes. I use this mod since it came out and might be able to help when you want to use it and run into problems.

I’m using divided bodies and I’ve seen different bodies in game, my problem comes with the presets, for some reason some presets I got from nexus aren’t compatible with some custom clothes, hence why I’m looking to create my own presets for the game to use. Do I need to create different output files for each unique preset? Like I was 5 different presets of chubby, athletic etc etc so the divided bodies can choose from and are good for my costumes

btw thanks for the info it was useful

Do you mean "Diverse Bodies"? I am not sure about this mod. The author states that it is a randomizer that applies bodies to npcs and also states that you can do this yourself. I am not sure whether these presets would be persistent on unnamed npcs. Clothings must be compatible with your body replacer and in case of "Diverse Bodies" I could imagine that not every preset will fit the clothings perfectly and it might come to clipping. Normally it's best to use one preset for one set of clothings. I made separate preset for the player, the followers and the npcs. Every group or npcs has it's set of clothings matching the related preset. E.g. clothings for Cait have a different shape than clothings for Curie as their bodies are different. I don't know how much control "Diverse Bodies" leaves you.
