having trouble porting a mod

So, I have been trying to port over Dragbodys power armor overhaul to fallout 3. I have tried porting over the models and textures, but the textures never would show in game. The armor would just take on the environment textures. Next I have tried to port the esp and converted it to Fallout 3 with the FOMM but when I try to load it with the GECK it says that the esp is a higher version than it can load. If anyone knows a solution for either of these please let me know! Thank you.

I'm not sure what you know about this stuff so I'll throw a bit of info below that you might know anyways or will help.

Changing the masters in fomm is usually/always not enough. Apart from the header(esp) version being wrong, the records could be referencing stuff not in fo3, and that will cause errors even if the game doesn't crash immediately or seems fine.

Header version should be 0.94 for fo3.

Fo3edit and nifskope are needed to fix your issues, convert the esp, and check what textures/texture paths the mesh wants.
