having trouble porting a mod

So, I have been trying to port over Dragbodys power armor overhaul to fallout 3. I have tried porting over the models and textures, but the textures never would show in game. The armor would just take on the environment textures. Next I have tried to port the esp and converted it to Fallout 3 with the FOMM but when I try to load it with the GECK it says that the esp is a higher version than it can load. I thought I would post this here since it is originally a NV mod. If anyone knows a solution for either of these please let me know! Thank you.

Did you change the path to the textures when you ported the meshes?  Are the textures installed in the correct location?  Are the shader flags set correctly for FO3?  Did you toggle Archive Invalidation after installing the textures?

What do you mean about changing the paths to the textures when I ported the meshes? I put the textures in the texture file in Data.  How do I correctly set the shader flags? I don't think I have toggled archive invalidation but I will. Sorry for all the questions, this is by far the most complicated piece of modding work I have ever done. 😅

You ported meshes from New Vegas to FO3.  The texture path shown in NifSkope does not show the complete path of the disc drive, game name, data, textures, file folder, texture name.  It has been truncated to show only textures\file folder\texture name.  So the meshes you ported from FNV will be looking for FNV texures, not FO3 textures.  You will have to manually change the path the textures using Nifskope even if FO3 has the same named textures.
