DocAwol
So i'm still pretty new to modding, and figuring things out as I go, I find reading and watching tutorials incredibly dull so ive been raw-dogging it. But I have an issue and am not sure where to start to fix it. I want to make lego man hands into a set of wearable gloves, and I have made a model for them and theyre in the geck but in game they are invisible. They are textured completely and appear in the geck previews, just not AS gloves. The way I made them was lining up a lego hand NIF with a glove NIF and deleting the glove, then exporting to its own file. So i figure it has something to do with the bones? since the hands bones go away with the glove when i do this in outfit studio. Any ideas on how to make these work? MuteSignals
Did you rig your new gloves? Assuming textures are correctly placed and you're not bothered about having them move (i.e. the lego fingers flexing), they still need to be assign a bone like "Bip01 Hand.R/Bip01 Hand.L" so the game needs to know what skeleton they're attached to. The way how I do it, is to use "Objects > Scripts > Bone Copy Weight" in Blender and the brass knuckles as a nif to line up with and copy over the properties as it won't have all the bones for fingers, just the palm. Outfit Studio probably has a equivalent method.
