Problems with difficulty settings

Set my difficulty to very hard for enemy AI

works fine for awhile but soon as I go through a load screen I get God mod?

I no longer use ammo and I'm invulnerable to damage or weight.

Same if I'm on board my ship, it takes no damage and has infinite boost

Quitting and restarting the game fixes it for awhile but I cant figure out why it keeps doing this.

I'm heavily moded  but nothing that should do this.

Any help. thanks

Nothing that *should* do that. Probably a mod interaction. Familiar with xedit? Might try having it filter for conflicts.

I'll try that xedit thing but I'm pretty noob at this stuff, my first Bethesda game!

Thanks for the advice I'll go check it out and see if I can make heads or tails on how to use it.

I think there is a tutorial for just such an occasion on youtube. But, can't swear to it.... Might even be somewhere on this site.
