Klonbuth
I was browsing around some mods and discovered that all our armor no matter how strong is a fraction of what NPCs have. Like we get 20 protection on some stat but they have 80. Any mod to take away their armor's insane protections? Edited December 18, 2024 by Klonbuth I meant to lower their stat not take their armor

Klonbuth
Thanks. I use. There is another reason for asking help with this. I have essential tremor now, not too bad but enough to add extra difficulty. It is hard for me to always hit in the head. Plus I have a hard time understanding why all mods are to make weapons better but non to make npc weaker (like they did with mutants). Thanks for reply. Because making NPCs weaker can cause more unintended quirks/side effects than just boosting player weapon damage and penetration values, which can be done with a simple tweak to DifficultyPrototypes.cfg and scale across all difficulties without messing with any game balancing. I'm currently working on a mod that's still being expanded and optimized, which basically rebalances the entire game, while leaving as many vanilla values as possible for better compatibility with other mods. You could try it if you'd like. It doesn't anything weird/buggy, and is easily removed, its just not as expansive and balanced as I'd like yet. It changes all 3 difficulties to be more balanced, incremental steps, without suck a huge gap between Rookie/Veteran, and makes it so rookie doesn't feel insultingly easy, and veteran offers actual challenge, instead of being more tedious/grindy. And then it releastically rebalances all weapons damage, bleeding, and penetration stats, as well as the multipliers for AI/mutants depending on hit location.
