Making Followers Have Interactive Dialogue

Recommended Posts

Hey, so I'm trying to get my two follower mods to interact through idle dialogue that triggers a short scene. I've got both set up as unique actor aliases in the quest. The scene will trigger, however it seems like Jesper's alias just wont fill and his lines get skipped. Any thoughts on why this is happening? I have the Jesper mod flagged as an ESM and the thief mod which is the one im adding the interactions to as an .esp. Not sure if that's the "proper" way to do it, or not however. Couldn't find much on it.

Here's an example of what's happening in a video: https://youtu.be/jvLAJt59Ktk

If you save and then reopen your mod, do you still see kaith and jesper referenced correctly in your scene? Or does one turn into None?

That will happen if you don't add the esm to the esp's master list.  It's a CK "feature" that wipes foreign data silently when you save.

Let me have a look at that today. Will report back, thank you for the tip.

Update on this - it seems that they're filling. The .esm is also listed as a parent on the .esp. Strange. Not sure why the lines aren't triggering. Have also made sure they're actually recorded properly and what not as well.
