Quick and easy way to replace NPC Overchaul's hair?

Downloaded DIbella's Blessing and found it with great regret that there are no patches giving this substitute support for animated hair. I don't want to give up on the mod, so would like to know options for editing the mod myself to add hair with physics, preferably the least complicated possible.

Honestly, it's going to be complicated and time consuming.  As an end user, you're better off finding a mod with hair physics if you have your heart set on that for all NPCs.

It comes down to scope.  If you're basically just running Skyrim with no new lands mods, you could have hair physics for everyone pretty easily by installing a mod that gives physics to all vanilla hair meshes.  But once you start wanting improved faces and modded hairs, it gets weird because the FaceGen meshes have embedded hair meshes.  You cannot therefore just swap out hair meshes willy nilly, they need to be (from what I can tell) the same shape of mesh but with physics added or things get really messed up.

I'm really good at mod tweaking but this isn't something I would even attempt.  Just too much work for too little payoff, and high risk of messing things up.

That's my advice, if you're determined to continue with this, you'll need help from someone who has more experience with the technical aspects.

For me, since I'm running so many mods, I've had to make peace with this anyways, since there just aren't physics hair replacers for all the new lands, new NPCs, etc.  Many of my NPCs have physics but definitely not all of them.
