Anyone else here a fan of Hans Niemann?

The way he bounced back after Magnus Carlsen, (generally accepted to be best chess player on the planet)  got the then 19 year old, blacklisted, is amazing.

Many of the Chess "Journalists", are all team Carlsen and will hype any win no matter how tightly played that carlson ekes out over Niemann as "crushing him", when Hans nearly blocked Magnus during the recent quarter finals in New York.

At the time of the last game of their 4 game match. it was 1 draw and one win each for Niemann and Carlsen. SO Magnus needed that win in order to not be ejected from this Championship altogether.

Carlsen did play at his best and won that last game and the match but one hardly say that Niemman could never beat him in a game.

When Carlsen had his tantrum 2 years ago at the FIDE Champsionship he took that Niemman beat him with Black as somehow proof that niemann cheated against him. No one has found any indicattion that Niemann cheated in that game.

And this was an open room with 4 proctors surrounding them no less!

In any event Hans has since beaten a great many Super Grandmasters, advanced to rank 18 in the world and clearly proven that he is capable of beating Magnus and even with black since he has done it several times since then.

Yet no apology from Magnus, or his Cheerleaders such as Hikaru and the Botez sisters.

And dont get me started that Magnus and Nepo are on tape engaging in game fixing yet no sanctions from FIDE at all!

I respect Magnus for his skill, but lost a lot of respect for him ever since his trantrums got out of control and he is using and abusing his influence.

Hikaru also forced to eat some humble pie after Hans beat him decicisly, at Speed Chess in New York, no less (not Hans's strenght but Hikarus best format) only 3 short months after Hikaru implied Hans is not in the same class as him.
