shyft
I'm thinking about picking up Oblivion GoTY edition from Steam, and I've heard of and seen a lot of great examples of mods hanging around. So, I'd like some recommendations and what not for what mods to pick up. Utilities, tips/tricks, etc. Whatever a new person might want or need to know. Any information would be appreciated, if not, no worries.

AncientSpaceAeon
The Top 100 is a good choice for newbies to download mods. Most mods got their readme. Since you just starting, I'll give you few mods you can try. You can find most this on Top 100 non adult, all time. - Midas Magic Spells of Aurum (Better spells)- Deadly Reflex (If you are the type who love blood and gore)- Natural Environments (For an amazing graphical experience)- Unofficial Oblivion Patch (You may read a few reviews that says Oblivion is so bugged, with this mod/patch, there will be none)- Oblivion mod manager (Essential for installing mods)- Akatosh Mount By Saiden Storm R19 (If you want to fly with a dragon instead ride a house)- Ruined Tails Tale (The best companion in Elder Scrolls !)- Unnecessary Violence (For better combat)- DarNified UI (If you don't like the Oblivion interface)- Oscuros Oblivion Overhaul 133 (For better Oblivion experience)- Assassins Creed-Altairs Gear by Nexon (If you love assassin's creed armor)- Living Economy (For a better experience in shopping)- Natural Faces (For better faces)- Bananasplit Better Cities (Collection of all who make your city better !) http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16513- Reneers Guard Overhaul (better life of crime) http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5977- Natural Interiors http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6249
shyft
I actually have the xbox 360 version, bought it on release day and loved it to pieces, but then i went 'damn, lots of cool mods out there, maybe I'll wait for the price to go down before i buy the PC version.' i was most definitely hoping to track down some of the character/face mesh improvement mods, as well. I'm mostly concerned with compatibility and ensuring the game works.
