Jormunrekkr
Upon starting a new game, i checked all perks that player had. If the mod is installed, player has a "StrangerPeople" perk, after uninstalling and starting new game checked again - perk didn't appear but problem persisted. No idea how could I bork the mod management, as I clearly removed the mod in Vortex just like you said. I tried this SAG command, but it obviously didn't work without the mod. I'll try to install the mod and enter this command. Here's my load order btw UPD: Tried using set _SAG_StrangerModInstalled to 0, tried removing perk from player. Nothing changed. I guess the problem lies in Race option addon, or Lively's Tweaks, but i see nothing strange in SSEEdit I'll remove the mod, purge the mods in Vortex, delete and reinstall the game, and redeploy mods. UPD2: i am cursed, npcs are still called "Male Nord" etc help Edited January 21 by Jormunrekkr
scorrp10
Are you 100% certain you are starting a new game? No mods that 'expedite' a new game start by creating a 'seed' save and then reusing it? I mean, this whole thing is implemented via a hidden perk. The script adds a perk to player character, and then that perk is 'baked' into the save. If you uninstall the .esp that has the definition for this perk, you are going to lose the ability to reference it in-game, but that piece of code is still attached to the player. But if you no longer have the .esp in your load order (you don't use Wrye Bash, right?), it should NOT attach this perk on a NEW game. Run the game. When main menu appears, open console and type 'coc whiterunorigin'. See if people are still labelled like that.
Jormunrekkr
I use Alternative Start - Live Another Life, but afaik it doesn't use any seed saves. I also don't use Wrye Bash. Tried coc whiterunorigin from main menu - npcs are still called Male Nord/Female Imperial/Male Old People Race etc. UPD: I "purged mods" in Vortex and loaded a clean vanilla SE, tried coc whiterunorigin - everyithing is ok, names are back. Now how do I find a sus mod (or even script) in 3000 mods pack given that no leftover esps or scripts were left from People are Strangers after uninstallation? Maybe some sseedit magic may help?
