Pagafyr
I bought Hogwart's Legacy from Steam. I didn't know about Epic. I wonder if anyone else who bought Hogwart's Legacy from Steam may be having problems after installing the Epic Launcher for the first time? The Epic Launcher is required to be able to have the Creation Kit. Why? How are the mod makers making the mods they share here at Nexusmods? xuntaintedx
Can't personally speak to how mod creators have been doing it so far. But as for why the creation kit is Epic exclusive, that's because they're happy to let other platforms host their game but not the big fancy tools for manipulating their engine. I have the game on steam and I tried the kit since I use epic already as well. biggest problem wasn't the epic launcher, it was the crazy big file size. epic is free and so is the kit, just takes disk space. like 450gb of it or so. Pagafyr
It doesn't matter now. The size of the Creation Kit wouldn't fit on my C:\. For some reason I can't get it to install on my D:\ 1TB drive. I can only look at the mods others have made when the game sets up. I want a mod that makes it so my character sits in a chair when waiting for the moment to start a class or talk to Professor Fig. It's sad that we have beds, chairs, benches, etc. we can't even use.
