anjenthedog
I was looking at the files included in the new installation to check/verify the version installed (a very obtuse installation process) in prep for re-modding, and I noticed one called skyrim.ccc, that I don't recognize. It's some sort of text file with entries such as this ccASVSSE001-ALMSIVI.esm ccBGSSSE001-Fish.esm ccBGSSSE002-ExoticArrows.esl ccBGSSSE003-Zombies.esl ccBGSSSE004-RuinsEdge.esl ccBGSSSE005-Goldbrand.esl ccBGSSSE006-StendarsHammer.esl ccBGSSSE007-Chrysamere.esl ccBGSSSE010-PetDwarvenArmoredMudcrab.esl ccBGSSSE011-HrsArmrElvn.esl ccBGSSSE012-HrsArmrStl.esl ccBGSSSE014-SpellPack01.esl Not sure what it does/provides Does this file indicate that I have the latest version (ie what is called AE?) scorrp10
Well, I am still running Skyrim 1.6.1130, and I got that file too. Quite sure that .ccc stands for 'Creation Club Content', and it looks like just a list of plugins included in the AE pack. (including the 4 mods that are included in the 1.6.* version for free) I would just ignore it.
anjenthedog
Thanks Scorrp. kinda figured it was something like that (a manifest of sorts), but wasn't sure. One thing it does tell me with *some* certainty is that I'm now running under 1.6x. I couldn't (and still can't) remember how to verify the Skyrim version I viewed properties for both skyrim.exe and skryim_launcher.exe but no version info was there. sigh...been ~6 years since I had to worry about that stuff and I feel like a total newb At least vanilla is working so far, so one small win. scorrp10
The version is definitely there, in the Details tab.
anjenthedog
Oh... so it is after all, my bad. Not sure how I missed it but thanks
wfandrews
If you do not select the exe before right clicking on it, it will show a different menu which does not have the "details" on it.

FWIW, I right clicked the exe... and checked all the tabs... I'm not really sure how I missed the line with the version info. No worries. issue resolved.
