How do I import a new 3d model with texture to Skyrim?

Hi. I'm trying to use Nifskope to do two small things to Skyrim SE.
The first thing I want to do is make a static object with texture that will stand on a floor in Skyrim. (and have collision detection).
I've already made the model in Cinema 4D and exported as obj. I also have a texture that works well in C4D where I used GIMP to convert the texture files to dds.
Now I can't import the obj. file into Nifskope. It says.
“No NiNode or shape selected. Meshes will be imported to the root of the file.”
If I import, nothing is visible.
I've been looking for a tutorial that tells how to do the most elementary things in Nifskope. The ones I found skip the simplest things.
I'd be happy if someone talked about how, or showed a tutorial that shows this. Or if there are any suggestions on how to get new 3d into Skyrim.

When I edit something in Blender, and export as obj, I generally use Outfit Studio to import it.  I would start Outfit Studio, then if I am importing something that is to be an armor, I will load a body reference, then import the obj

If it is going to be a world object, I will import some similar .nif and set it as reference - then import the .obj.
